Hi everyone! Sorry it's been a while... Busy. And stomach issues all gone :))) so happy! Lol.
So not too much to tell you guys. It's entering the rainy season here and mostly in the afternoon/evening it rains buckets on and off... Which is very annoying here because the roads are mostly dirt roads... So you Know what happens when u mix dirt and water, MUD! Mud all over the place and everything! Lol. I was walking by myself somewhere and it had just finished pouring something fierce, I was walking along a now muddy pathway... Well there was a puddle full of water and then a slippery slope around it that people were taking. So I figured i follow them... Instead I slipped down the slope into the puddle of muddy water.... My entire right side was covered in mud. The people around me stopped and looked and said, "aww mazoongo!(white)" I was so embarrassed I walked all the way back home looking at the ground and not anyone else. Lol.
I just got in from having a study. It went well. The people I was with were great supporters. My one study this week didn't show because her son was sickly... Fever and throwing up, eew. I also set up to have a study with another woman after meeting on Sunday. So far both of us have missed our appt to meet up. Let's hope this time it works out.
Linnie pooh! So nice to hear from you!! And libba! Hi! Wave to Corey for me lol. And mama Cindy so glad to hear that about Tess :) sad I missed it tho :( but I'm sure she did fantastic. Send the family my love please!
Well I hope everyone is well! Love you all and love hearing from you all! Miss you ALL more than you guys know!

  4. Into every life a little rain will fall; and so will Chat!
Or at least spill the soda... Good ploy tho, cover yourself with mud to look more 'native'

  5. I feel bad for laughing at your run-in with the mud puddle. But the thought was just too funny. Hopefully in the the future you'll look back and laugh too! :-) If it were me I think I would have just splashed around a little more while laughing at myself and really given the locals show. :-P

Now that you look native are you starting to pick up the local language?

  7. So we hear your shoes were all stolen, except for the ones you didn't want to take with you, but your mama made you anyway. And now you have to smear your face in the mud and apologize to your mother...hee hee. We will take you shoe shopping when you come home. :) Luv u...

  8. Dear Chat,
Every experience you have...even the funny ones...is adding so much to you as a spiritual person. I must admit tho that I would've walked with my head down too. How many are pioneering in the congregation, reg and aux?
How's that young homeless boy that you went on the study with, been thinking about him.
    Miss you much,
    Wilsons
