I say the same title part II because I'm still tasting and still seeing :)
So! Yesterday a brother informed me and another sister of a deaf woman that works at a salon and we decided to go meet her. Well we met her and on Sunday we will have her first bible study! We'll study the bible teach with her. So that makes 2 bible studies and it's only been 2 weeks! Like I said I'm still tasting and still seeing :)
Also that morning I met the deaf woman, I went on a kirundi bible study (hearing), even tho I didn't understand one word it was still very interesting and cool. The one seems to really ask questions and really wants to know.
It's so sad to see how hard people work here just for some food at least once a day. Burundians are really hard working people. We are so lazy and spoiled and we have everything, while they have nothing. Yet they are still amazingly friendly and generous. But I don't think the people here really understand just how poor they are... Even the brothers and sisters don't stop preaching to eat lunch. They literally go from 9 am - 5 pm without eating... Needless to say by the end of the day, I'm STARVING lol.
So on a different note, this morning our household went hippo sighting! We walked around the national park for 3 hrs. We saw some hippos in the water a good bit of a ways. Camera does it no justice. But! After that we went to breakfast right on the edge of the lake and we saw hippos so close and clear!! They're HUGE!! Lol. It was really beautiful tho :) and breakfast was yummy. It was a fancy restaraunt and I got an omelette and toast and coffee and juice and free fruit(mmm mangos) all for like $3.50.... The bus ride is like 30 cents.... I can get a huge bottle of water for less than a dollar. The regular sized water bottles are less than 50 cents... Craziness. I'm not worried about running out of money! Ha!
Whelp can't think of anything else to tell you all! Have a great day! Miss you all :)

Ah Jehovah truly is good and like the Queen of Sheba you are seeing it for yourself. We are so spoiled here its embarassing and we'll need you to help us see that more clearly.

You're truly an encouragement to us and you're making me yearn for that similar life again. Most things are just so simpler in that way. What better way to use your days than in Jehovah's service?
